Requiem for Tony

My love for classical guitar is inspired from a young age by my late uncle, an accomplished classical guitarist, rock climber, and hero. I have shared some recordings and sheet music from a series of original compositions you can learn to play (approximately AMEB grade 3). They are written as requiems to honour his memory.

The Joy of Outdoors
Remembering the frivolity and joy of preparing to go on an adventure in the great outdoors.

Music for Gatherings
Reflecting on the many times that he would play for us at family gatherings or significant events.

The Summit
The harsh environment he guided people through to see the beauty of unforgiving, rugged mountains.

On His Shoulders
The feeling of being supported by your hero to achieve beyond your reach.

Special thanks to Vladimir for transcribing these works to sheet music and spending particular time on the finger positions. We are currently working on simplified versions with easier finger positions and rhythms which will be released soon.
